Three Shakers

These silver plated cocktail shakers were made by the Napier Co. (Meriden, CT) in the 1930's. The first one is from 1932 and was the first cocktail shaker manufactured by Napier. It is the Tells-You-How-Mixer (just turn the body and the ingredients for all your favorite drinks appear in the windows). The middle one is the rare pengiun shaker from 1936 by Emil A. Schuelke. His beak opens when you pour. The third one is a sleek conical design from 1934, also by Schuelke.

Making the perfect Dry-Martini in the perfect shaker. Desing from the past to a world without cocktail clothes, and cocktail hour, cocktails places, without all the things make the life bearable.

Oh yeah. What's your favorite cocktail?

Dry martini, with gin Bombay and white vermouth Perucci with a drop of angostura, served in a conical glass with a olive.

Sorry, only one olive

Nice. There was a time when I used to mix it, good stuff. Didn't touch it for nearly ten years - sentimental reasons, you know.

Well, you can change it for a red sunrise with campary and red martini and gin. But this one need ice frappe.
