I love these old bi-plane flying boats of the '20s and '30s. I've a model of a Supermarine Stranraer and a picture of a Supermarine Walrus at home, but the Short Calcutta/ Singapore and the Supermarine Southampton are great too!
I feel something special about this planes. It was a golden era, with the promise of a future amazing but ...the future is not the same thing it was.
