Dustbin Turret

Boulton Paul P.75 Overstrand bears the distinction of being the last RAF biplane bomber - and the first one to have power-assisted closed turret.

Hello there. Despite it's appearance, the nose turret of the Boulton-Paul Overstrand was not traditionally referred to as a 'dustbin turret'. Rather, a dustbin turret was an open topped affair mounted in the ventral position and usually retractable. Cheers.
