Somewhere in Italy, 1940

Photographer: Carl Mydans

Any help in identifying the location will be appreciated

UPD: It's in Genova.
Thanks, Rene!

It's a tower "grattacielo" in Genova, designed by the neoclassical architect Marcello Piacentini (also renowned for his design of Mussolini's EUR in Rome)

Thank you Rene.
The name Piacentini tells me volumes.
